Today, I am taking my last road trip. I am going to see my son wrestle in the National Freestyle Championships. It is the biggest wrestling tournament in the world!
It is a double elimination tournament which means that you keep wrestling until you lose twice.
Since this tournament draws the most of the best wrestlers in the country, it could be two and out for my son. We will see.
Even if he does lose his first two matches, we will still stay on Friday so I can keep my appointment and introduce him to Dan Gable.
When I get back to Kansas City, it is time to get serious about making money and putting down roots in my new home.
