Lord of the Castle

I came home from work tonight and saw a fairly large box sitting in the living room.

I wonder what that is? I don’t remember ordering anything…

I don’t remember anyone else talking to me about ordering anything…

It turns out that it is my son’s linens for college. Now I know why my wife didn’t argue with me! And here I thought that she was just bowing under the sheer force of my powerful male logic! Fat chance! She didn’t argue because she had already placed the order!

And now she is not happy. In fact, she is ticked off. Everything is cheap…low quality…

I didn’t say much.

I mean, I tried to tell her…

but…what do I know?

I wonder if she feels like I did when I took her to The Cheesecake Factory to go to the bathroom?

Probably not…

Women are NEVER…wait a minute, let me catch myself…I shouldn’t use the words always and never in a relationship…women are RARELY wrong!
