The trip went well. The weather was beautiful. The SuperCrew got 20 MPG and drove very well. Also, I picked up some key parts for the T-Bird in Minnesota and still made it to Fargo.
This recent string of emergency car maintenance proved to be a very good thing. I discovered that the SuperCrew was low on oil. It never needed to be checked before, just changed!
While having the spark plugs changed, we discovered that two of the plugs were not even screwed into the engine. They were just held in by a screw and a rubber boot!
The guy who changed the oil discovered another problem that needs attention before it became extremely expensive.
I guess it makes sense. I have done no maintenance since I have been here and my wife just drives the cars.
