Back in 2006, my wife and I tried to start a pre-school in LA. We went back to school to get the necessary early childhood development credits, wrote out a business plan and made a formal presentation to the pastors of a church. It went very well but the board of elders decided against us.
Well, we took our first real steps toward that goal here in Kansas City with fantastic results! My wife had a very helpful conversation with a woman from the Missouri government. We then drove to the Grandview, MO City Hall and met with the City Planner. We told him of our plans and he said recommended a property that had been vacant for two years that had been built and approved by the city as a pre-school!
We went and looked at it and it is perfect! Tomorrow, I will begin to inquire about buying it!
