Since real estate was so expensive in California, we bought with another young family.
My wife never really liked that house.
So, since just she and I were involved in picking this house out and we were both in agreement, I thought she would be really excited when we finally moved in.
Let’s just say that her response was underwhelming…to say the least.
I did my best to understand. With boxes everywhere, no flooring, no washer, no dryer and a remodeling project in the master bedroom looming, its just hard for her to see what it will be.
But, it was still a little irritating.
But things changed today.
She has made a good deal of progress in getting her kitchen organized. And we have a washer and a dryer.
And guess what?
She REALLY likes our house! She told me at least two different times.
Finally! Music to my ears! I’ve only been trying for 20+ years!
Just wait until all of the flooring is installed and the bedroom is finished!
Shoot! I should just go get measured for that new suit of shiny, silver armor right now!
