Cars, cars, cars

I still haven’t succeeded in buying our second car…but I am working on two good leads.

I test drove a 1996 Honda Accord with 200,000 miles tonight. It runs like a top and looks pretty nice. The best thing about it has been completely serviced by a Honda mechanic. The price is a little higher than I really want to pay but we will see.

Also, I might be able to repurchase the 1998 Honda Accord that I took back to the dealer! If it works out, I will write about it. I am going to take it to the Honda mechanic and pay him to evaluate it to see how much it will cost to repair.

To make matters more interesting, our 2001 F150 SuperCrew that I drive to work every day started running very badly when I got off the freeway tonight. It looks like I will have to drive Wild Bill to work while my wife takes the truck to the mechanic.

She will then rent a car to go pick up my mother from the airport!

And, I have no idea how I am going to get the 1998 Honda to the mechanic before he closes.

Just another day at the Castle…

It never ceases to amaze me how pooped I get reading your posts. You’d think I’d be used to how PACKED the WHIRL schedule always is.
